Des Lowry

Des Lowry, Taramuid, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway and formerly of Glengormley, Belfast. 19th November, 2022. Des passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of St. Josephs Ward U.C.H.G after a brief illness borne with tremendous bravery. Predeceased by his parents Agnes and John. Des will be hugely missed by his heartbroken partner Ann Keady, her children Rachel, Ruth and Adam, his son Daryl, Daryl's wife Claire, his grandchildren Sophie, Joel and Dillon, his sister Elaine, brother-in-law Mark, his aunt Florence and uncle Joe (Kilcolgan), extended family, friends and neighbours. 

May Des's gentle soul Rest in Peace. 

Des will repose at Suaimhneas, on the grounds of Clarinbridge Church, this Monday evening (21st Nov) from 5-6pm. Private Cremation in Shannon Crematorium on Tuesday (22 Nov) at 3pm. House strictly private. No flowers please, donations, if desired, to Cancer Care West. Those who wish to leave a message of condolence for the family may do so in the condolence section below.
