Desmond (Dessie) Smith

Smith, Ballsgrove, Drogheda, Co. Louth, 19th December 2021.  Peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in his 85th year.  Desmond (Dessie) predeceased by his daughter Karen and his twin brother Joe, sisters Marie and Gretta.  Beloved husband to Phyllis and loving dad to Brenda, Keith and Sinéad.  Sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son, sons in law David and Gary, daughter in law Sinéad, grandchildren Samantha, Suzanne, Sarah, Branwen, Mia, Ronan and Pádraig, his 7 great-grandchildren, brothers Eugene, Benny and Kevin, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, from 5pm until 7pm on Tuesday evening.  Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am arriving to Holy Family Church, Ballsgrove, for funeral Mass at 11am.  Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.

House private please.
