12th February 2023 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his wife Kathleen, brothers Larry and Jim, sister Bridie.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving daughters Una and Threasa, sons-in-law Steve and Colin, adored grandchildren Scarlett, Isabella, Alexandra, Esme, Miles, brothers Pat (Galway), Tony (Cork), Austin (Dublin), Eamon (Galway), Benny (Bristol), sisters Mary (Newtownforbes), Ann (Jersey) Bernadette (Bristol), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours, and many friends in England and Ireland.

Desmond’s funeral Mass will take place at The Cathedral Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Pembroke Road, Clifton, Bristol, on March 22nd at 11 o’ clock.
Desmond’s funeral cortege will arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Cootehall on Thursday evening the 23rd March at 7 o’ clock.
Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock on Friday 24th followed by Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 3 o’ clock.
