The death has occurred of
Domie (Stephen) Scanlon
SCANLON (Cork) On 7th February 2024, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the exceptional care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Mercy University Hospital, DOMIE (STEPHEN), late of Briars Court, Shanakiel and Eason’s Hill. Dearly beloved husband of Kitty (nee Quirke) and much loved father of Geraldine (O’Shea), Michael, Noelle (O’Leary), Ann (Coleman) and Stephen, youngest brother of the late Mary, Margaret, Pauline, Lena, Eileen, Aggie, Finbarr and David and father-in-law of the recently deceased Niall.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, his twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Friday (9th February) at 10.00am, family in attendance from 4.00pm with Rosary at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday (10th February) at 10.00am in the North Cathedral. If you wish to view the Mass, click on http://www.corkcathedral.ie and follow link.
