Donal O'Riordan

Formerly of Irishtown, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Donal passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in The Galway Hospice on Saturday, the 16th of November, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Donal and Joan, brother Barry, sister Mary, nephews Nick Chapman and Kevin McCool and grandniece Sophie Byrne. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife Carmel, adored son Donal, Donal's partner Adriana, sisters Emer How (UK), Ruth Rheinhold (Ferbane), Judy Vaughan (Canada), Helen Hughes (UK), Denise Griffin (Ballykeeran) and Joan McCool (Dungannon), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Donal will repose at Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Tuesday the 19th of November, from 5pm to 7pm. Private Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery. Donal's Funeral Mass can be viewed via the live stream on www.churchservices.tv/ballinasloe.
