Doreen Mc Cartan (née Heenan) Blackrock, Co. Louth and formerly of Castlewellan, Co Down.  Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.  9th December 2020.  Doreen wife of the late Pat, dearly loved mother of Fionnuala (Fingleton), Aidan, Conor, Neil and Moya (Moran) and loving grandmother of Séan, Katy, Eilíse, Shane, Anna, Kevin, Maeve, and Joe.  Doreen will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Chris and Kieran and daughters-in-law Gabriella and Edel, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May She Rest In Heavenly Peace.

Due to Government guidelines Doreen’ Funeral will take place privately on Sunday at 2pm in St. Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown followed by Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.  The Mass can be viewed on

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects as Doreen’s cortège will pass her residence on the way to the Church.  Please keep your social distance.
