The death has occurred of DR. JAMES PHILIP (PHIL) KAVANAGH, Appleton, Wisconsin, USA and formerly of Malahide Road, Swords, Dublin, Ireland. The death has taken place on 25th October 2023 (peacefully) at his home in Appleton, Wisconsin of Phil Kavanagh following a short illness. Predeceased by his parents Brendan and Máire (Curran), he will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Joyce (Patton), brothers John and Francis, sisters-in-law Barbara and Frances, niece Caroline, brothers-in-law Mike and Ward and their families, neighbours, former colleagues at Maynooth University, extended family and friends in Ireland, England and America.

In accordance with Phil’s wishes his remains will be cremated at Valley Funeral Home, Appleton, Wisconsin, USA, in a private ceremony. Messages of condolence may be left on RIP.ie. Those who wish to send mass cards or letters of condolence may do so to the Funeral Home named below:
