Edith Lavelle Cairns
Edith Lavelle Cairns, late of Bray and Greystones, Co. Wicklow. September 1st, 2018. Peacefully surrounded by her family in the dedicated care of the staff at Cairnhill Nursing Home, Bray. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Lavelle and Bill Cairns. Loving mother of Geraldine, Anne, Paddy, Martin, Carole, Peter and Sarah-Jane, sister of Irene and the late Milly, Gerald and Harold. Will be sadly missed by her loving family, step-daughters June and Wendy, step-son Trevor, spouses and partners Austin, Barry, Sue, Colm, Lisa and Shaun, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray on Tuesday evening, 4th September, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 5th, at 10am in The Holy Rosary Church, Greystones, followed by interment in Redford Cemetery Greystones. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Alzheimers Society, donation box at church.
