Peacefully, in the gentle and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved husband of Kitty and dear father of Lorraine, Edward and Martin. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Katie and his brothers Jack, Tom, Peadar, Christy and Patrick. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, daughter, sons, son-in-law Larry, daughters-in-law Lynda and Suzannah, grandchildren Ciara, Éamonn, Alana, Freddie, Maya, Rupert and Jack, brother Barney, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to Level 5 restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Eddie’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family only.
There will be an opportunity for the community to show support and to remember Eddie by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Saturday, February 13th, as the funeral cortege leaves from his home, proceeding via Ballinurd and Belrobin. The family will walk from the Old Parochial House to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley, for Funeral Mass at 11am and continue afterwards to the adjoining cemetery for burial.

House strictly private, please. As there is no safe parking on the road, a limited amount of off road parking will be made available for those who may be present as the cortege leaves.
