Edward Kelly

Edward Kelly, Retired Garda Sgt., Stragelliff, Cavan, formerly of Rathdrum, Wicklow, 14th March, 2022. Peacefully, in the care of the  medical staff of the Mater Private Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness courageously borne. Predeceased by his wife Mary, daughter Louise, his brothers Leo and Tom & grandson Sam. Loving father of Tom, Michelle and Mark. Sadly missed by his sister Grace, daughter-in-law Lisa & his adored grandchildren Layla & Amber, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many, many friends.

Reposing at his home Stragelliff, Cavan, H12 RY83, from 3pm to 8pm on Tuesday, 15th March. House strictly private at all other times. Removal from his home on Wednesday morning to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral  Mass at 11am, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan, H12 RF78. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, to Palliative Care, Cavan, c/o  McMahon Funeral Directors, any family member, or donation box in the Cathedral.
