Edward (Ned) McArdle

The death has occurred, in his 93rd year, of Edward (Ned) McArdle, Loughanmore, Manfieldstown and late of Station Road, Castlebellingham, peacefully in the wonderful care of the doctors and staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family. Ned, beloved husband of the late Rita (née Kieran) and loving father of Teresa (Bellamy), Susan (Hamilton), Eddie and Ollie. Predeceased by his brothers Paddy and Jemmy and his sisters Phyllis, Peggy and Maisie. Deeply regretted by his sons, daughters, son-in-law Derek, daughters-in-law Linda and Sinead, brother-in-law Francis, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Alice, aunt Rita, grandchildren, Ciara, Kalen, Arianne, Siobhan, Aoifa, Liam, Oliver and Lucas, his 7 great-grandchildren, nephews especially Teddy, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Ned Rest in Peace

Reposing at the home of his son and daughter-in-law Eddie and Linda McArdle, Drumcar, Dunleer (A92 XR79) from 4pm until 8pm on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday morning to Saint Mary's Church, Kilsaran arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am which can be viewed live at at churchmedia.tv/saint-marys-roman-catholic-kilsaran. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
