It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Eileen, who passed away peacefully, in her 98th year, at Connolly hospital following a short illness. Eileen was surrounded by her devoted family. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) and treasured mother to Mary, Elizabeth, Liam, Martin, Joan, and Noeleen. Eileen, late of Finglas and formerly of Seafort Gardens, Sandymount, will forever be remembered with immense love and affection by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Ian and Stan, brothers-in-law Les and George and sister-in-law Val.

Eileen's memory will also be cherished by family and friends in Australia and Canada, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbour’s and all who had the privilege to know and love her. Her legacy of love continues in the close bond of love and support her family have for one another.

Eileen will repose at her home on Sunday, 28th July, from 4pm to 9pm for anyone who wishes to pay their respects. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday morning at 10am at Saint Canice’s Church, Finglas Village, followed by her committal at Glasnevin Crematorium. The family kindly requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to a Hospice of your choosing.
