The death has occurred of
Eileen Hourihane
(née Lynch)
On August 15th 2021, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at her daughter Teresa’s home in Tooreen, Skibbereen, Eileen (nee Lynch), Bawnishal, Clohane, Skibbereen. Dearly beloved wife of the late Eugie, loving mother of Marie (Harnedy), Gerard, Finbarr and Teresa (Holland), dear mother-in-law of Maeve, Catherine, Dan Joe and Pat, devoted Nana to Eoghan, Kieran, Stephen, Denis, Seán, Barry, Diarmuid, Noel and Maria, Grandma to her great-grandchildren, Aoibheann, Seán, Olivia, Ben, Alice and Libby. Sadly missed by her loving family, sister Kathleen, sister-in-law Mary, nephew, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
To comply with Government and HSE guidelines, Eileen’s funeral will take place privately at Teresa and Pat’s home. Eileen’s funeral cortège will leave Tooreen on Tuesday at 11.45am, travelling via Bauravilla, Ballyhilty, Sleaveen Cross, Bawnishal and Clohane, arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Caheragh for requiem Mass at 1pm which will be livestreamed on https://corklivestream.com/Funerals. Funeral afterwards to Caheragh new cemetery.
