Eileen (Juney) Herlihy
(née Twohig)
HERLIHY (Cork) On 9th August 2023, peacefully, in the presence of loving family and in the tender care of the High Dependency Unit, Cork University Hospital, EILEEN (JUNEY, nee Twohig), late of Ardcullen, Hollyhill. Dearly beloved wife of Tim and much loved mother of Elizabeth, Louise, Linda and John, devoted nana of Shane, Daniel, Evan, Noelle, James, Chloe, Colin, Scott, Corey and the late Ryan.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, family, sisters Roseanne, Nora and Geraldine, sons-in-law Jason and Glynn, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Friday (11th August) from 11.00am, family in attendance from 4.00pm with Rosary Prayers at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday (12th August) at 10.00am in St. Mary’s on the Hill Church, Knocknaheeny. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s New Cemetery, Curraghkippane.
The family would like to acknowledge the care given to Eileen from Professor Liam Plant and Dr. George O’Mahony.
