Dear mother of Johny (Coral) of Queensland, Australia and Erik (Tracy) of Toronto, Canada, step mother to Christine Searle (Aberlour, Scotland) and Elizabeth Msadabwe (Lusaka, Zambia). Eithne was fiercely independent and lived a very full life over her 88 years. She had a great number of friends and family whom she enjoyed long and meaningful relations with. She was known for her great sense of humor and devilment, her caring and kindness that she offered to all. Over her lifetime, she worked as a governess, a Montessori teacher, as a travel and real estate agent and in the film industry as a prop master, among others. She built a house in Schull, County Cork from her own design and enjoyed living there very much.  Eithne had lived on three continents, loved to travel, to experience different cultures, try new foods and participate in local events and support local initiatives.
