The death has occurred of
Elizabeth (Bessie) Lee
(née Mc Govern)
Died Thursday 4th January 2024 peacefully in the loving and tender care of the staff at Cluain Lir Care Centre, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her husband James, baby infant Michael, parents Hugh and Kate Mc Govern, brothers Peter, Paddy and Hugh, and her sister Mary Kelliher.
Bessie will be sorely missed by her sons, Seamus (Kathleen), John (Roisin), and daughter Mary, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in Smiths Funeral Home, Barrack St. Granard (N39AX97), on Saturday 6th January 2024 from 4pm to 6pm, followed by removal to St Mary's Church Granard, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday 7th at 1pm followed by Christian burial in St. Colmcille’s Cemetery, Aughnacliffe.
