The death has occurred of Betty (Elizabeth) Murphy (née Corr) of Annaghmacullen, Cloone, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Gulladoo, Carigallen, Co. Leitrim, Monday, 9th of October 2023, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents; Bernard and Katie, her daughter Deirdre Anne, brothers; John, Patrick, Eugene, Frank, Bernard, her sister; Kathleen Steadman, brother-in-law; Ron Steadman and her sister-in-law; Anne Corr.

Deeply regrated and sadly missed by her loving husband; Michael, daughter; Carmel, sons; Michael and Barry, daughter-in-law; Madeleine, grandchildren; James, Grace and David, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her son Michael’s residence on Tuesday, 10th October, private to family, neighbours and close friends please.

Removal to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Cloone on Wednesday evening (11th October) at 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday, 12th October, at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
