Elizabeth (Betty) Tavares (née Hazelwood)

Woking, Surrey, UK and formerly of Bridgetown, Castletownroche.

 

 

Elizabeth passed away peacefully in the presence of family and carers, aged 87 years at Kettlewell House Nursing Home, Woking, England on Tuesday, 17th September, 2024.

 

Beloved wife of Frank, much loved mother of Ernestine, Philip and Francis and cherished grandmother of Teddy.

 

She will also be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her brother Henry (Rathcormack), sisters Anne (Castletownroche) and Breda (New York), son-in-law Nick, her many nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, relatives, many kind friends and neighbours in Mallow, Woking and Marbella, Spain.

 

Predeceased by her parents Bridget and Robert, sister Norah (Greene) and her half brother Michael.

 

May she rest in peace.

 

 

 

 

Reception into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castletownroche on Thursday afternoon, October 24th at 12:45p.m for Requiem Mass at 1pm, after which Elizabeth will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Churchyard Cemetery, also Castletownroche.
