Elizabeth (Lily) Flanagan

The death has occurred peacefully of Elizabeth (Lily) Flanagan Cavan Rd. Kells. Monday, 25th April  2022 in the loving care of her devoted family and the wonderful nursing staff of Our Lady’s Hospital Navan following a short illness in her 90th year. Lily  was predeceased by her husband Tommy, son Pat and daughter Ellen and is survived by her loving children: Peter, Mary, Thomas, Elizabeth, Joseph, Martin and Breda her sister Teresa, 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Daughters-in-law Ali and Nora, Sons-in-law Damian, Martin, Gerry, Kieran and Ben sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Lily will repose at Mc Entee’s Funeral Home, New Market St., Kells                    (A82 K0D7) on Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm. Removal from her residence on Thursday afternoon at 12.30 to arrive at St. Colmcille’s Church for funeral Mass at 1pm which can be viewed on https://www.kellsparish.ie  followed by burial in St Colmcille's Cemetery Kells

In the interest of Health and Safety the family ask those attending the public wake, funeral and burial not to shake hands.

Lily will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She had a great love for family and family gatherings and had a very deep and strong faith. Her life was lived in caring for others, encouraging people and praying for peoples needs.
