(née Morrissey)
Buckley (Blackstone Bridge, Common’s Road, Cork), on September 8th 2023, peacefully in the presence of her loving family at The Mercy University Hospital; Ellen (Nellie, Nana Buckley) (née Morrissey, formerly Newtownshandrum), beloved wife of the late Tedna and much loved mother of Jerry, Tim, Pat, Eleanor, John, Michael, Eddie, Noreen, James, Denis, Delia, Christy and the late Marie (O’ Sullivan), Danny and Hanora. Sadly missed by her heartbroken sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, brother Chris, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Visitation at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Monday, September 11th, from 6.00pm to 7.00pm, with prayers at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass in St. Brendan’s Church, The Glen on Tuesday September 12th at 12.00 noon. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
