Elsie Lorna Corkery
(née Grove)
CORKERY (Leap): On June 13th, 2023, peacefully died just before her 93rd birthday in the tender care of the Doctor's, nurses and staff of the Cork University Hospital, and in the presence of her loving family, Elsie Lorna (née Grove), beloved wife of the late Simon, Kilmacabea, Leap and devoted mother to John, Angela, Eileen, Liz, Simon and Sarah.
Deeply regretted by her loving family, her 23 grand-children, 25 great grand-children, brother Norman, sister Audrey, mother-in-law of Carey, Jon, Pat, Sue, Ann and the late Philip, nephews, nieces, relatives, very kind neighbours and her many close and dear friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Shanahans Funeral Home, Leap on Friday, 16th June from 6.30pm to 8.00pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 17th June at 12noon in St. Mary's Parish Church, Leap. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Elsie's Requiem Mass will be live-streamed on www.corklivestream.com/funerals
