Flannan (Flan) McCarthy

Flannan (Flan) McCarthy (Balally, Dublin and formerly of Portroe, Co Tipperary) – December 19th, 2024, passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at the Glebe Nursing Home, Kilternan while surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Rose (née Ryan) and much-loved father of Linda, Edward and Claire.

Sadly missed and remembered by all his loving family, brother Pat, sister Noreen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law Paddy and John, daughter-in-law Yvonne, grandchildren Lauren, Amy, Ciara, Marc, Sarah, Liam, Mia and Ben, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends, and his St. Olaf’s GAA family.

Flan will repose at JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village (D18 C8P7) on Sunday (Dec 22nd) from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Monday morning (Dec 23rd) to the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally arriving for 12pm Mass, followed thereafter to Mount Jerome Crematorium.
