The death has occurred of
Fr. Peter Hannan S.J.
Hannan, Fr. Peter S.J. (Manresa House, Clontarf and formerly The Ward, Co. Dublin) – December 7, 2023, peacefully at the Blackrock Clinic, son of the late Timothy and Caroline, pre-deceased by his brothers Fr. Laurence S.M., James, Patrick, Timothy and John and his sisters Anne, Mary and Caroline; deeply regretted by his brother Michael, sisters-in-law Moyna and Thérèse, nieces, nephews, extended family, Archbishop Dermot Farrell, the priests of the Dublin Diocese, his beloved Jesuit community and many friends.
Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Sunday afternoon (Dec 10) from 3 o’clock until 5 o’clock. Requiem Mass on Monday morning (Dec 11) at 11 o’clock in Church of St. Francis Xavier, Gardiner Street. Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Cemetery.
