Late of the Station House, Ballintra, Co Donegal and former staff member of the Agricultural College, Multyfarnham, Co Westmeath. Peacefully after a long illness at Fatima Home, Tralee. Beloved son of the late Patrick and Margaret and much loved brother of Hugh, Eugene, Mary Teresa Roper, Michael, Phelim, Breege, Margaret Doran, Gerard, Gabrielle McDevitt and the late Pauline. Sadly missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, the Franciscan Community, Killarney and the Friars of the Irish Franciscan Province.

Reposing at the Franciscan Friary, Killarney on Wednesday 18th December 2024 from 4.00pm to 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining Friary graveyard.
