With heartbreak and deep regret the McCann family announce the (sudden) death of their brother Frank (60) at his home in Sandyford.

Formerly of the Sandyford House, the Step Inn and An Garda Síochána (Terenure)

Dolorous, sorrowful and mourning are brothers Ciarán and Cormac, sisters Karina and Cliona, brothers-in-law Noel and Keith, sisters-in-law Irene and Jacqueline, nephews John, Adam, Ross, Joshua, Yohannes and Mechael, nieces Emma Rae and Kim, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, extended family, exceptional neighbours and friends.

In line with Government and HSE advice regarding funeral gatherings, Frank’s funeral will take place on Thursday morning (July 22nd) at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford Village (limited to 50 people), followed by burial at Bohernabreena Cemetery, where Frank will be laid to rest alongside his parents Bernie and Frank.

Frank’s Funeral Cortège is expected to leave JP Ward & Sons, Funeral Home, Sandyford Village at 10:45am on Thursday morning and will proceed to St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford. Anyone wishing to line the route are welcome to do so, while observing all guidelines relating to social distancing and the wearing of a face mask.
