Frank (Yank) Honer

Frank (Yank) Honer (Late of Montpelier Drive, Arbour Hill, originally from Garden Lane, Francis Street, The Liberties and late of 5th Infantry Battalion Collins Barracks and McKee Barracks and former Sacristan of Arbour Hill Church) passed away peacefully on 30th October 2019 in the tender care of Bebhinn Ward, St. Mary’s  Nursing Home, Phoenix Park. Son of the late Thomas and Kathleen Honer and brother of Bernadette, Johnny, Christy and the late Sarah, Kathleen and Thomas. He will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law Aidan, nieces Catherine, Grainne, Deirdre and nephew Bob and by John and Veronica Nolan, his god daughter Ashling and Deborah, Garry, Lorraine and Shauna, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews and their families, his army colleagues and a large circle of friends.  

Reposing at Bourke’s Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street, Dublin 7 on Monday evening from 5o’c until 7o’c. Removal on Tuesday morning to The Church of the Sacred Heart (The Garrison Church), Arbour Hill arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30o’c with burial afterwards at Mount Jerome Cemetery.
