George Franklin
George Franklin, Thomastown, Dundalk, Co. Louth, and formerly of Ennis Road, Limerick City. Peacefully after a short illness in the wonderful care of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, in his 87th year. 6th July 2023. George, beloved husband of the late Anne, née Prunty. Adored father of Luke, Colm, Helena, Paul and Maeve. He will be missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his son-in-law Diarmuid, daughter-in-law Pauline, sister Mary, brother-in-law Pat, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his dear sisters Kay, Margaret and Eileen.
George was a uniquely talented force of nature, who will be sadly missed.

George will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street (A91XW66) from 6pm until 9pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30am to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley, A91 XV99, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
