George Gill (Thornhill, Murrisk, Westport, Co. Mayo) November 29th 2021: Peacefully surrounded by his family and in the exceptional care of The Mayo Hospice, Castlebar. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret (née Staunton), sons Joe & Paul, sisters Mary Feeney, Margaret Sams & Ann Allison, daughter-in-law Margaret, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended Gill & Staunton Families, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
George will lie in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh for family & friends on Tuesday (Nov. 30th) from 6pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal from his home on Wednesday at 11.40am walking to St. Patrick's Church Lecanvey arriving for 12 noon Mass of Christian Burial, followed by interment in Murrisk Abbey Cemetery.
