The death has occurred of
GEORGE MCCARTHY
McCarthy (Donovans Road, Cork) On July 29th 2023, peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the Staff at Ballynoe Nursing Home, George (late of St. Anne’s Pitch and Putt Club) beloved husband of Teresa (nee Buckley) loving father of Linda, Geraldine and the late Michael. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren David, Shauna, Michael, George, Ellen and James, son-in-law Mick (Murphy), brothers Michael, Brendan, Denis and William, sisters Margaret, Khay and Ann, extended family and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, South Gate Bridge on Monday (July 31st) from 5.00pm until 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday (1st) at 11.00am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, The Lough (which can be viewed Here) funeral afterwards to St. Oliver’s Cemetery.
