George O'Connell
O'CONNELL (Ard Dara Grove, Blarney and late of Parklands, Commons Road, Cork) On June 23rd 2023, peacefully in the presence of his loving family at Cork University Hospital, GEORGE (formerly of the English Army, Irish Guards Regiment, Oil Rigs and Star Cabs); beloved husband of Jenny (née Hawkins), loving and devoted father of Jim, Derek, George and the late Trevor, brother of Mary, Anne, Angela and the late Jimmy. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, grandchildren Ciara, Trevor, Sean, Mark and Jenna, sisters, daughters-in-law Gillian and Sarah, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Visitation at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Tuesday, June 27th, from 6pm - 7pm with Prayers at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, June 28th, at 12 noon in the Church of The Resurrection, Farranree. Funeral afterwards to Rathcooney Cemetery.
