MAHONY Gerard (Ger) Caherwalter, Loughrea, Co. Galway. Peacefully on the 9th of November 2018 in the wonderful loving care of the Galway Hospice. Pre deceased by his parents Sonny and Sadie and brother Brendan. Sadly missed by his wife and best friend Ethna, cherished and much loved father of Paul, Brian, Lisa, Eoin and Niamh. Fondly remembered by his daughters-in-law Geraldine, Eimear and Elaine, sons-in-law Gavin and Shane, his doting grandchildren, sister Anna, brothers Jack and PJ, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, the extended Mahony and Reynolds families and his many friends. RIP

Gerard will lie in repose at Kilboys Funeral Home Loughrea Sunday the 11th of November from 3pm until 6pm. Gerard’s funeral cortege will arrive at St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea on Monday November the 12th for requiem mass at 12 noon. Burial will take place afterwards in Garrybreeda cemetery, Loughrea. Family flowers only by request please. Donations if desired to The Galway Hospice Foundation. House private by request please on Monday.
