Gerard (Gerry) BYRNE

BYRNE (Sallynoggin and formerly of St. Patrick’s Crescent, Monkstown Farm, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – January 16th 2024 (peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Gerard (Gerry); dearly beloved husband of the late Mags, much loved father of Nicola, Paula, Donna and Anna, doting granda Ger Ger to Jordi, Andrew, Luke, Sophie, Jamal, Zennan, Sienna and Lexi. Sadly missed by his loving daughters, Nicola’s partner Paul, grandchildren, his brothers Paddy, Anto, David, Fran and John, sister Callie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 PW73 on Thursday (Jan 18th) from 4pm until 6pm (all welcome to attend). Removal on Friday (Jan 19th) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, D8W HY98 arriving for 1pm Committal Service.
