Gerard (Gerry) CLEARY

Gerard (Gerry) Cleary of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of New Vale, Shankill, Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully, in his 95th year, on Wednesday, 12th April, 2023, in the kind and compassionate care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin and in the presence of his loving family. Beloved husband of Joan for over 63 years, devoted father of Gerard Jnr. Austin, Madeleine and Anthony, father-in-law of Monica, Gwen and Jacqui, adored grandfather of Eoghan, Cathal and Eve, Bill, Matthew and Jack, Nathan and Luke, Austin and Aaron, Lewis and Euan and “adopted” grandfather of Niamh, Sinead, Killian, Cian and Amy. Sadly missed by all his family, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, on Friday evening (April 14) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal from the funeral home on Saturday morning at 9.30am, walking to St. Peter’s Church, Little Bray, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.00am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
