Gerard (Gerry) Speiran

Gone peacefully too soon, in the wonderful care of the staff of Tallaght University Hospital, after an illness borne with courage and good humour.

Much loved and loving husband of Marie (nee Doherty), a proud and caring father of Barry, Geoffrey and Jamie. He will be sadly missed by his wife and sons, his daughters-in-law Laura and Kana, and Meaghan, grandchildren Alisa Rin and Théo, his sisters Rita, Anne and Catherine, Brothers-in-law Gordon, Liam and Enda, Sisters-in-law Orla, Maureen and Kay, his nieces and nephews, his close Limerick cousins, and his wide circle of friends.

Gerry is pre-deceased by his parents Gerard and Mary (nee Chawke), his brothers Jim, Dick and Bill, his sisters Marie and Mona, his niece Tara and nephew Tadhg.

Reposing at Massey's Funeral Home, Templeogue Village (D6W AC82) Sunday 12th of May between 2pm and 4pm.

Arriving Monday, 13th of May, to Terenure College Chapel (D6W DK72) for 11:30am mass.

Burial will take place following day Tuesday 14th of May in Granagh Cemetery V35 YH67 Limerick, arriving at 3pm.

Family Flowers Only. Donations in lieu to Diabetes Ireland.
