The death has occurred of Gerard "Gerry'' Sweeney of Currabaggan,

Knockmore, Ballina, Co. Mayo.

Peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his sister Ann Gilmartin, his parents Nora and John and his sister-in-law Mary Sweeney.

Beloved brother of John, Noel, Mary Roche, Helen Bones, Hillary Muldoon, Teresa Sweeney, Martina Egan, sister-in-law Katherine, brothers-in-law Jimmy Roche, Francis Bones, Martin Muldoon, Padraic Egan, Michael Gilmartin, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Saturday, 9th March, from 4:00pm with removal at 5:30pm to arrive at Church of Christ the King, Knockmore for 6:00pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday, 10th March, at 11:00am with funeral proceeding to Ballinahaglish Cemetery, Knockmore.
