On February 6th, 2022 surrounded by his family at Mercy University Hospital, Cork, Gerry (Smiley), beloved brother of the late Pakie. Gerry will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margo (nee Morrison), sons John, Ronan and Brendan, daughters in law Joanne, Angie and Ciara, cherished grandchildren Leah, Harrison, Charlotte, Reilly, Daniel and Conor, sister Eleanor, uncle John T. Heffernan, niece Caroline, brother in law Jim, sister in law Kathleen, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Reposing at his home (Eircode P67 W243) on this Tuesday evening from 3pm to 7:00pm. Gerry’s funeral cortege will leave his home on Wednesday at 11:30am traveling via the main road and Lower Cork Street, Mitchelstown for 12 noon requiem Mass at the Church of Our Lady Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown.  Burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery.
