Gerry (Joseph) Gartlan

The death has occurred of Gerry (Joseph) Gartlan, 77, Cloughvalley, Carrickmacross, 5th November 2020. Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his beloved family. Predeceased by his infant son Damian, his parents Joseph and Margaret and his sister Mairead. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife May, sons Jim, Gerard and Anthony, his daughters Anita and Sharon, son-in-law Damian, Jim's partner Fiona, his adored grandchildren Leighéann, Sophie, Cian, Melissa, Jessica, Arron and Shauna, his stepmother Lily, his brothers Sean, Tony and Fintan and sisters Roisín, Anne, Mary, Sinéad, Eilish and Orla, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

In accordance with current guidelines, Gerry's Funeral Mass and burial will take place for family only in St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, on Sunday, 8th November, at 12 noon, followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross. Gerry's Funeral cortège will leave his home on Sunday morning at 11:20am via the Patrician High School & Castleblayney Road, proceeding to St. Joseph's Church.
