Girlie Carthy
(née McCabe)
Girlie Carthy (née McCabe), of Springfield Heights, Newtownmountkennedy, formerly of Timore, Newcastle, Co. Wicklow. October 11th, 2024, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Billy, son James and grand daughter Chelsea. Remembered with love by her family, children John, Patrick, Declan, Joanne Evy and Avril, daughters in law Karen and Linda, sister-in-law Esther, 21 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her home on Sunday October 13th from 2pm until 7pm and on Monday October 14th from 2pm until 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning October 15th at 10am, walking to St. Joseph's Church, Newtownmountkennedy for Funeral Mass at 10:30am, after which Girlie will be laid to rest in Priest Newtown Cemetery, Kilquade.
