Grace O'Brien
(née O'Mahony)
O’BRIEN (Cork) On 3rd July 2023, peacefully, in the presence of her loving family and close friends in Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, GRACE (nee O’Mahony), late of French’s Villas. Dearly beloved wife of the late Martin and much loved mother of Anne, Fiona, Pat and Tony, devoted nana of Calum, Ben, Isaac, Erin, Joel, Amy and Owen, beloved sister of Ann and Maunie, dearest friend of Liam. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Thursday (6th July) from 10.00am, family in attendance from 5.00pm with Rosary at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Friday (7th July) at 11.00am in the North Cathedral. If you wish to view the Mass, click on http://www.corkcathedral.ie and follow link. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, if desired, to Marymount Hospice, https://www.marymount.ie.
The family would like to acknowledge the tender care given to Grace from the staff of Cork University Hospital and Marymount in her final months.
