The death has occurred of
Gretta O'Driscoll
O’ Driscoll (Churchfield, Cork), on October 15th 2024, peacefully in the presence of her loving daughter at The Mercy University Hospital; Gretta, beloved mother of Elma (Nansink) and dear sister of the late Cecelia, Katie and Bridgie. Sadly missed by her heartbroken daughter, sister Noreen, brothers Willie and Donie, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, friends, neighbours and her Neo-Catechumenate brothers and sisters.
Visitation at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Thursday, October 17th, from 6.00pm to 7.00pm, with prayers at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass in The Church of The Resurrection, Farranree on Friday, October 18th, at 12.00 noon. Funeral afterwards to St. John’s Cemetery, Ovens, Co. Cork.
In order to celebrate Gretta’s life, those attending any of the funeral services are asked to wear her favourite colours – green and white. Similar colours please for any floral sprays.
