Late of Edenderry, Co. Offaly.

Hannah Mooney (nee Sullivan) beloved aunt, sister, stepmother and friend, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at her home on 21st December 2024, at the age of 75, surrounded by loved ones. Hannah was predeceased by her husband Sean, as well as her mother Kathleen, father Mick and brother Johnny. She will be deeply missed by her partner, Adrian, her niece Amy and Amy’s husband Killian, her brothers Francie and Dan, her sister Philomena, Francie’s wife Helen and Philomena’s husband Gerry. Also her many nieces and nephews especially Samantha and Geraldine, her grandnieces and grandnephews, also Adrian’s sons and daughters, especially Rhiannon and Alannah. Her neighbours and dear friends Derek, Emma and son Alex and all those that loved and cared for Hannah. Hannah's warmth and generosity were felt by all who knew her, and she leaves behind a community of neighbours and friends who cherished her deeply.

 

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

 

Hannah will repose at Larkin's Funeral Home, Edenderry this Friday (27 Dec) from 6pm to 7pm with Rosary at 7pm. Her Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday (28 Dec) at 12 noon in The Church of the Assumption, Ballinabrackey followed by burial in Castlejordan cemetery.

 

A woman of great kindness, Hannah had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved. She will be remembered for her compassionate heart, her sense of humour, and the unwavering support she gave to those around her. Hannah’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
