Helen died peacefully at Galway University Hospital on Thursday, 25 April, 2024, with her loving family at her side.

Beloved wife of the late Gene, much loved mother of Eugene and Aiden and cherished Aunt to her nieces Vicky and Jean.

Predeceased by her parents Jack and Cissie and by her brother Tommy.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her sons, daughters-in-law Elaine and Rachel, her adored grandchildren Gene, James and Iarlaith, brother Gerard, sisters Tricia and Deirdre, the extended Finnerty and Talbot family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8), on Sunday, 28 April, from 5.00 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. to Galway Cathedral. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Helen at 12 noon on Monday, 29 April. Following Mass she will be laid to rest with her husband in the New Cemetery, Bohermore.
