Hugh McGeady

The sudden death has taken place at his home on Friday 1st November 2024 of Hugh McGeady, Loughnagin Heights, Letterkenny F92 PW21. Deeply missed by his loving wife Carmel, sons Rogan and his partner Eli, and Ryan and his wife Anne, sister Bernadette and husband Cathal and their sons Lorcan and Cian (Gweedore), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins and extended family, friends and neighbours Letterkenny, Gweedore and Glasgow.

Hugh is predeceased by his parents Teresa ‘Tim’ and Jimmy (Ard na gCeapairi, Derrybeg).

Rest in Peace

Hugh’s remains will repose at The Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny F92 XE35 on Monday 4th November from 5pm until 7pm followed by removal to his late residence. House private to family and close friends only please.

Funeral from there on Wednesday 6th November at 10.30am going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on https://www.youtube.com/@churchoftheirishmartyrs4657 followed by private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Paramedic Section at Letterkenny Ambulance Station c/o any family member.
