Hughie Sweeney

The death has taken place on Friday 21st April 2023 at his home after a short illness and surrounded by his loving family, of Hughie Sweeney, The Farrigans, Drumkeen F93 C672. 

Predeceased by his son, baby Eamonn.  Deeply missed by his loving wife Brigid and family Maria, Steven, Hugh Enda, Elaine, Raymond, Caroline, Gary and Sandra, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Rest in Peace

Hughie’s remains will repose at his late residence on Friday 21st April from 4pm until 10pm and on Saturday 22nd April from 12noon until 10pm with Rosary both evenings at 9pm.  Funeral from there on Sunday 23rd April at 1.45pm going to St. Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen via Stralongford, for Requiem Mass at 2.30pm which can be viewed on Craigs Media Facebook page.  Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.  Family flowers only please.  Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Donegal Hospice c/o any family member.
