SMITH (née Lynch) (Cabinteely, D18 and formerly of Pottery Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – December 29th 2023 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff at the Annabeg Nursing Home. Irene; dearly beloved wife of the recently deceased William (Bill), much loved mother of Suzanne, Derek and Pamela and predeceased by her brothers Pat and Sean. Sadly missed by her loving daughters, son, daughter-in-law Gabrielle, sons-in-law Brian and Adrian, grandchildren Claire, Karen, Hannah, Jack, Holly, Adam and Niamh, great-grandchildren Luke and Tilly, brothers-in-law Pat and Anthony, sisters-in-law Gert and Maureen, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May she rest in peace with her best friend and love of her life Bill.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 PW73 on Monday (Jan 1st) from 4pm until 6pm, with a gathering of family and friends for 5.45pm Prayer Service (all welcome to attend). Removal on Tuesday (Jan 2nd) to St. Brigid’s Church, Cabinteely, arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Deans Grange Cemetery.
