Jack Davies

Heartbroken to announce that our fiercely loved, beautiful, funny, brave and fearless Jack has passed away peacefully at home on May 1st, swathed in love.  Pre-deceased by his loving granddad John Miller.


Jack's parents Andre and Naomi, his sister Molly,  girlfriend Jen, together with his grandparents Vivienne Miller, Trevor and Cheryl Davies, aunties Nicola, Nadine (Miller), Rachael and Abigail (Davis) , Uncles Gary and Markus and cousins Kristian, Olivia, William, Grace, George, Lucy, Ronan, Sophie and Charlie are all so enriched by being a part of Jack's young life.

A Private family funeral will be celebrated at Shannon Crematorium on Friday, 7th May, 2021.

The route leaving Galway to Shannon Crematorium from Jack’s home  on Friday following a Blessing ceremony at 11.30 a.m. will be as follows:

Leaving at 12 noon via  Kingston, Knocknacarra Road ,  lleft towards Galway Golf Club, The Galway Bay Hotel to Seapoint Roundabout, returning to Blackrock and Threadneedle Road via Galway Lawn Tennis Club, Taylor’s Hill,  driving in and around  St. Mary’s College on St Mary's Road ,  past University College Hospitalside entrance to NUIG on Lower Newcastle Road, the Browne roundabout and the  Quincentennial Bridge.

If you would like to stand anywhere along the route as a mark of respect please do so safely.

Attendance at the crematorium will be strictly limited to 25 people in accordance with current guidelines.

We would like to thank everyone for their messages of support over the last few days. It was made very clear just how loved Jack was and the positive impact he made on so many people’s lives. Jack was described as a shining light who lit up everyone’s life.   He was multi-talented, always smiling and always in good spirits. We were privileged to have him in our lives.
