James (Jim) Caplice

Caplice (Mitchelstown & Burncourt). On March 1st 2018, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Mercy University Hospital, Cork, James (Jim) (Mitchelstown Bowls Club), Clonmel Road, Mitchelstown and late of Caherghaul, Burncourt. Beloved husband of Veronica (nee Norris), loving father of Damien, Deirdre, Mark, Veronica, James and Deborah, devoted grand-dad of Jesse, Cameron, Alex, Jamie, Niamh, Alyssa, Divino, Rayssa, Ciara, Abbey, Moya and Ben and dear brother of the late John, Pat, Martin and Margaret. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, brothers Mike, Tom, Dave, Dick, Mossie, Joe, Frank and Anthony, sisters Mary, Winnie and Bridget, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown on Thursday (8th March) from 6 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. followed by removal to Mitchelstown Parish Church. Requiem Mass on Friday (9th March) at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in Brigown New Cemetery, Mitchelstown. No flowers please, donations, in lieu, if desired to the Mercy Hospital Fund.
