James (Jim, Jimmy) O'Brien

O’ Brien James (Jim, Jimmy) (Ailt an Oir, Glenageary and formerly Rathfarnham and Sandymount, Dublin) July 27th July 2024. Peacefully, in his 96 year in the kind and tender care of the staff at Altadore Nursing Home, Glenageary. He will be sadly missed by his sister Cella, nieces and nephews, Denis, Deirdre, Cormac, Emer, Ronan, Lorna, Deirdre, Rory, Denise, Joe and especially his devoted niece Joan and nephew-in-law Pearse. Jim will be missed and fondly remembered by his wide circle of wonderful, kind and caring friends who brought great happiness to his life.

Funeral Mass on Thursday 1st August at 10am in the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
