James (Jim) Twomey

James (Jim) Twomey, Ballyvolane, Cork, on 26th December 2023. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Josephine (née Jacob). Cherished father of Niamh (Allen), Darragh, Ruairi and Aoife (Bennett), loving grandfather of Abi, Jake, Zach, James, Eli, Hannah, Milena, Simone, Ava and Ezra. Sadly missed by sons-in-law Paul and Philip, daughter-in-law Dil, brothers Derry and Ron, sisters Maureen, Rita, and Catherine, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and the First Neo-Catechumenal Community, Ballincollig.

Lying in repose in Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Old Youghal Rd, Cork, on Thursday 28th December 2023 from 6.00pm with prayers at 7.00pm. Requiem Mass at 11.00am Friday 29th December in St. Oliver’s Church, Ballyvolane.

Followed by burial in St. Senan’s Cemetery, Tower.
