James (Jimmy) Byrne

James (Jimmy) Byrne, Knockanina, Mountrath, Co. Laois. (Ex Eircom). April 9. 2021  (coming into  his 90th. year). (peacefully) at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his wife Mary, brother Billy, sisters Biddy, Nancy and Mary-Kate.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving sons Anthony, James and Thomas, daughters Mary and Paula, son in law. daughters in law, grandchildren, great - grandchildren, sister in law, brothers in law, partners, nieces, nephews, extended family relatives neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Jimmy Rest In Peace.

Due to Government & HSE advoice and to insure the safety of all a Private funeral will take place (Max 10 people) you are asked not to congregate in the church yard or the cemetery to ensure the safety of all.

Jimmy's Funeral Mass will take place on Monday (12th. April) in St. Edmund's Church, Castletown at 10 am, followed by burial in St. Fintan's Cemetery, Mountrath. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the St. Edmund's Church, Castletown Facebook page.

Jimmy's family would like to thank you for your co-operation, understanding and support at this sad and difficult time. If you wish to leave a message for the family you can do so in the section below marked 'condolences'.
